Dorothy Day Home of Sober Living welcomes our armed forces veterans and understands their unique circumstances. Our sober living home serves males military veterans who share a common desire to commit to sobriety, as well as personal improvement, by honoring the house rules and participating in the house process. Emphasis is placed upon three regular outside meetings a week and one weekly home meeting, while building powerful, lifelong relationships with others in the home, significant to individual growth and recovery. Our philosophy is modeled after the 12 Steps which assist individuals in successful life-coping skills along with employability. The Dorothy Day Home of sober living home provides a real home atmosphere in a safe environment that stresses the importance of 12 step program involvement, sponsorship and unity within the home.
